AP Mitchell Fire & Security is proud to announce its appointment by Travis Perkins PLC, one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants, to deliver a state-of-the-art IP CCTV and intruder alarm system at the company’s brand-new Salford site.

Project
The project involves the installation of a comprehensive 50-camera IP surveillance system and a Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm, providing the new branch—spanning approximately 50,000 sq ft—with advanced, integrated protection across the entire premises.
The new IP camera network will provide high-definition coverage throughout the site, offering real-time monitoring, remote access, and intelligent video analytics to ensure maximum visibility and security. The Galaxy intruder system adds another layer of protection, offering robust intrusion detection and full integration with the CCTV platform for streamlined site management and rapid incident response. In addition the large Tool Hire Section is covered with a Smoke cloak System.

The installation forms part of Travis Perkins’ ongoing investment in modern, technology-led branch infrastructure, ensuring both staff and customer safety while maintaining efficient operational control across the site.
